Staff Profile: Jonah Watt

EA Staff

Jonah Watt graduated Shawnee Mission East high school in 2018 where he was a standout high school catcher, lettering all four years. He led his team to a state high school championship and was named Under Armour All-America in 2017. He received a scholarship to catch for University of Central Arkansas, but  unfortunately got injured, and now attends Kansas State University pursuing a degree in personal finance. Hard working and eager to learn are a few of the many attributes Jonah brings to the Engaged Athletics program. Jonah coaches because baseball has taught him so many life lessons, and he wants to be a mentor to players.

Jonah has two supportive parents, and two older brothers who played college baseball as well. Spending time with his family, his dog Mallard, hunting, and doing anything outdoors is where Jonah spends a lot of his time.
